A good word ... and timely for all who seek to do the work of God ... to make all members and ministries of the Body of Christ to reflect on who might feel slighted if we don't ask for their participation. If they are asked and don't join in, then they can't complain. If they are not asked ... and are offended, then there's a need for relationship repair - which Gideon was very good at - and fortunately for him, Ephraim excelled in their accomplishments.

Faith has been the focal point in my walk with the Lord , as time goes by , I see the Lord in it,to sit and see the Glory of the Lord ,many people do not see this ,perhaps they do not stand still. We have to see the enemy in our life , we have to see it is ourselves , we must , in faith see our weakness , and know that God will deliver us from the most worst enemy OURSELVES .

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Hebrews 4:12

What conviction the Word of God brings. Amaziah's reaction to the convicting Word of God is very familiar. When your witnessing the Law and the Gospel to people, if they have not the Spirit of God, their reaction is the same: "Go away! Flee!" You know that your shaking up their world. But Oh what blessing when the Word brings conviction that leads to repentance.
I wonder.
How many Christians out there would accept a commision like Amos'?
Would we welcome a ministry that involved telling the safe, comfortable, well-to-do people of the world that the Wrath of God is being stored up for them on the Day of Judgement?
I think we already have.
